Q & A's from Sports Diploma PDF

Question:
It says that "at the end of the course we will be able to work as an independent Sports massage practicing Physiotherapist."  If we are not yet qualified as a physiotherapist does that affect our ability to practice the sports massage independently ?

Having a recognised QCA qualification is absolutely what you need to practice. As soon as you finish the 9 days, providing course work, exams, and other bits are completed.....and you have a first aid cert, you can join the FHT, or CMA, ...well once your certificate is through from Active IQ, which might take however long it takes..........you can WORK !

The Active IQ course is a National Occupational Framework QCA recognised Level 3.This is a nationally accepted qualification in Sports Massage. It is the one all Premier Fitness Instructors complete, and work with in Gyms, Clubs, Beauty Studios, Clinics, and Spas, up and down the UK.
Because it is Nationally recognised you can join many organisations so the choice is up to you.
For example, you can join the Federation of Holistic Therapists which costs about £52 per a year, and get a malpractice insurance for about £22. You are then a sports massage practitioner, alongside everyone else.
OR you can join the Complementary Therapists Association, ( Embody) which is  £102 per year and includes insurance.
Both these organisations give membership searchable databases. Both these organisations are GCMT recognised so you can join GCMT as well.

Question
I am just wandering how much "Pre course Work" there is going to be, and
what form this takes- is it essays, revision, practical?

I am completely on board, and realise that i will have to do work to gain
this qualification but just wanted some idea of how much work there is to
be done before June, as being in final yr of uni i am already snowed down
with dissertation, essays and the looming exams.

Essentially there will be reading revision, and completing some short evaluations, but no more work than I first told you about. As far as practical is concerned, you will do it all on the course in June.
There is no requisite for logged massage hours with this course, or a set of case studies, or a 3,500 word essay !

Question

When do you need the rest of the course fees for?
Remaining balance course fees are due in May, by the 20th. I will send out an email with a link to pay pal nearer the dates.
